# Payment providers in Odoo

The connector reads the card's Payment Account Reference (PAR) or the customer's
IBAN from the payment providers you already use in Odoo. With either one, Cheqi
can deliver the receipt to a Cheqi user automatically.

Without a PAR or IBAN, Cheqi still works: customers scan the QR code or show
their pairing code, and in the webshop Cheqi can also recognise them by their
checkout email address. See
[What customers and cashiers experience](/odoo/customer-experience).

| Provider | Point of Sale | Webshop | Extra setup |
|  --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Adyen | Card payments (PAR) | Card payments (PAR) and bank payments (IBAN) | Turn on the PAR in Adyen's Additional data |
| Worldline | Not supported yet | Card payments (PAR) and bank payments such as iDEAL (IBAN) | None |
| Mollie | Terminal PAR matching is implemented but not live-verified | Bank payments such as iDEAL (IBAN); online card PAR expected late 2026 or early 2027 | None |
| Stripe | Card payments (PAR) once enabled | Card payments (PAR) once enabled; bank payments without a full IBAN use the QR fallback | Ask Stripe to enable the PAR; `charge.updated` webhook event |

The connector uses Odoo's own payment integrations (`pos_adyen`, `pos_stripe`,
`pos_mollie`, `payment_adyen`, `payment_stripe`, `payment_worldline` and
`payment_mollie`). Set those up as described by Odoo first.

## Adyen

Turn on the Payment Account Reference in your Adyen Customer Area:

1. Log in to the Adyen Customer Area.
2. Go to **Developers → Additional data**.
3. Turn on **Payment Account Reference**.

Adyen then includes the PAR with card payments, both on Adyen terminals in Point
of Sale and for online card payments in the webshop.

For bank payments such as iDEAL, the IBAN is only included when Adyen returns
it for your account. Ask Adyen to include the bank account details if these
payments arrive without an IBAN.

## Worldline

Worldline is supported for webshop payments. No extra setup is needed beyond
Odoo's standard Worldline webhook: point it to
`https://<your-odoo>/payment/worldline/webhook` and enter its key and secret in
the Odoo payment provider.

When a Worldline callback does not contain the PAR or IBAN, the connector
retrieves the payment from Worldline itself. Worldline payment terminals in
Point of Sale are not supported yet.

## Mollie

Mollie can be used with Cheqi today, without extra setup. Odoo already retrieves
every payment from Mollie, and the connector reads the customer's IBAN from it
for bank payments such as iDEAL.

Mollie says `cardFingerprint` contains a PAR when one is available and a
Mollie-specific fingerprint otherwise. The connector uses that field only when
it contains a valid 29-character PAR. In our live online card test, Mollie
returned a 21-character fingerprint instead; Mollie confirmed that online PAR
was not yet exposed through its API. We expect availability in late 2026 or
early 2027, but Mollie has not committed to a date.
Terminal PAR matching is implemented but has not been verified with a live
payment. Without a valid PAR, card payments can use a QR code, pairing code or
Cheqi email match.

## Stripe

**Using Stripe Terminal?**

For automatic receipt delivery after a card payment, Cheqi can use the card's
Payment Account Reference (PAR). Stripe currently only exposes the PAR after it
has been enabled for your Stripe account.

If PAR isn't enabled, Cheqi still works: customers can scan the QR code to
receive their receipt. Customers using Cheqi can then save it directly in the
Cheqi app.

To enable PAR:

1. Log in to the Stripe account connected to Odoo.
2. Open Stripe Support at [support.stripe.com/contact](https://support.stripe.com/contact) and start a chat.
3. The chat may initially open with Stripe's AI assistant. Paste the message
below and ask to speak to a person.
4. Stripe will review the request and, once enabled, PAR will be included with
eligible new card payments.

Message to copy:

```text
Hi, can I talk to a human about enabling a feature on our account?
We would like the Payment Account Reference (PAR) to be available on the charge object for our Stripe account, for both online card payments and Stripe Terminal (card_present) payments.
We use PAR to automatically deliver digital receipts to our customers with Cheqi.
Could you submit a request to enable this for our account?
```

The Cheqi settings in Odoo show these steps when Stripe is installed.

**Webshop**: Stripe can add the PAR to a payment after it succeeded. Enable the
`charge.updated` event on the Odoo webhook endpoint in the Stripe Dashboard.
The connector then adds a digital delivery once, on top of the receipt the
customer already received. Checkout never waits for the PAR.

For webshop bank payments such as iDEAL, Stripe may provide only the IBAN's
last four characters. Those characters cannot identify the customer for
automatic delivery. When there is no other match and the QR receipt option is
enabled, the confirmation page shows a receipt QR code. The customer scans it
with the Cheqi app (or opens the link on the same phone); the receipt is saved
in their app and routed to their eligible destinations. If Cheqi needs the
customer to choose a payment account, that routing waits for their choice.
See [Web Wallet](/receipts/qr-collection).

## Other providers

Payment methods without a card PAR or an IBAN, such as cash, PayPal or Klarna,
and providers without a Cheqi integration still get a Cheqi receipt: through the
QR code or a pairing code.
